We’re happy to get involved
Over the last number of years staff from Rabobank in Ireland have been happily getting involved in a number of volunteering activities that have already helped Barnardos in various centres around the country. See below updates on recent and past volunteering events.
Barnardos Mahon Family Support Project Cork, May 2009
For a long time in our project we had been debating how we could inject a bit more life into our playroom & garden - to make them a bit more child & family friendly. We had great hopes of using the garden as an 'extra room', provided the sun shone just a little & to soften the colours in the playroom
Buckingham Street Makeover Dublin 1, April 2009
On April 20th 2009 a team of workers from Rabobank in Ireland joined us in Buckingham Street to brighten up the Service. We were delighted to answer the door to a small team of very enthusiastic guests. It was obvious that everyone had come prepared for a hard days work and even the Sun came out to help make the day more fun.
Barnardos Traveller Support Education Options (TESO) Finglas, July 2008
On Monday the 7th of July 2008, a team of 7 volunteers from RaboDirect.ie and Rabobank Ireland PLC came together in an effort to support the work of the Barnardos children's charity in the Finglas area of Dublin.

The Tivoli Centre refurbishment was the first of our volunteer events. A truly collaborative event as RaboDirect, Rabobank Ireland and ACCBank staff came together as one Rabobank team to support Barnardos.
