At RaboDirect customers use the unique Digipass device and their own individual PIN Code to access and sign off transactions online. The Digipass is a small hand-held security device that looks a bit like a small calculator. And so, RaboDirect offers the safest online banking system in Ireland. To request a new Digipass or new PIN number you will need to print and sign the relevant form above and send it to our freepost address:

Important!

If your Digipass or PIN is lost or stolen, or if you have any other security concerns, you should notify us as soon as possible by calling 1850 88 22 44 at any time or email info@rabodirect.ie. If no one is available to take your call, please ensure that you leave a voice message - we check our messages as a matter of priority and we have procedures in place to handle any security issues.

What should I do if my Digipass is lost or stolen?

We take online banking security very seriously. If your Digipass is lost or stolen, you should contact us immediately.

Personal customers should email us at info@rabodirect.ie. Business customers should email us at business@rabodirect.ie or phone our Contact Centre on 1850 88 22 44.

Our offices are open 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday. If our office is closed please leave us a voice message with your customer number, name and contact number.

We will check your accounts and contact you when we are back in the office.

What happens if I enter my PIN number incorrectly into my Digipass?

Don't worry, you have five attempts to get it right.

When you turn on your Digipass it displays FAIL 1. Lightly hit the orange button on your Digipass, PIN will display now enter your correct 5 digit pin number your Digipass will display 'APPLI' which allows you to continue to log in to your RaboDirect accounts.

However, if you still do not remember your PIN and your Digipass displays 'Fail 5' or a series of 7 digits you will need to request a reset code from us by downloading and sending in this form.

What do I do if I forget the PIN number for my Digipass?

First you'll need to deliberately block your Digipass by entering the wrong PIN number five times. Then download this form. Print and fill it in and post it to:

When filling in the form the 'Code Lock' is the number that appears on the display of the Digipass after you've entered the wrong PIN five times and the serial number can be found on the back of the Digipass.

Once we receive the form, we'll post you out a reset code which allows you to chose a new PIN number and you'll be good to go again. 

How do I replace my Digipass?
