- How do I become a customer?

Becoming a RaboDirect personal or business customer is so easy:
- Complete the relevant online application form.
- Print out the form and sign it.
- Send the form and valid anti money laundering documentation (and that of your co-account holder/business associates, if applicable) to us.

Once we get everything we need, we'll send you your account number(s), with a Digipass - the small calculator type gizmo which will allow you to access your secure account with RaboDirect. A few days later, your PIN code for the Digipass will arrive. You use this code to activate your Digipass and then login and manage your accounts.
- How does internet banking work with the Digipass?

Banking via the internet with RaboDirect is extremely quick and is done via a secure connection. You do not need any extra hardware or software. You'll use your Digipass to access and manage your accounts online.

- What does it cost to open an account?

It costs absolutely nothing to open an account with RaboDirect. And it costs nothing to close it either. Your Digipass, which is worth €15, is also free. However, a fee may be charged to replace lost or stolen Digipasses.

We're an internet bank and so we're open for business online whenever it suits you; 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! If you have any questions, you can call us on 1850 88 22 22. We're here to take your call from 8am - 7pm Monday to Friday.

We can offer you a high interest savings account online, personal and business, low cost managed funds and a Credit Account that allows you to borrow up to €50k.
- Who can become a RaboDirect customer?

Our accounts and services are exclusively intended for use by residents of the Republic of Ireland who must comply with anti- money laundering requirements and complete the relevant documentation.
We offer Savings, Investment and Credit Accounts to our personal customers and Business Savings Accounts to Sole Traders, Partnerships, Private Limited Companies and Solicitors.
Minors, under 18 years of age, can also become customers of RaboDirect. In this case, one of their parents (legal representative) will manage the Digipass.
