What's the Rabo Money Mover all about?

Well, it's the easy way to deposit money into your RaboDirect Savings Account, personal or business, from your current account* that you have with another bank. But you don't have to visit your bank branch to do it! You set it up yourself from within your secure account with RaboDirect.

* If you have another type of account, such as a savings or deposit account, we would advise that you contact your external bank to confirm the account is suitable for Direct Debits.

What can I use it for?
  • Set up a one-off transfer into your RaboDirect Savings Account, personal or business, there's no limit on the amount. 
  • Keep saving regularly or start a great habit by setting up a regular transfer of money into your RaboDirect Savings Account, either personal or business.
  • As  personal saver, you can use the Rabo Money Mover to fund your RaboDirect Investment Account online. 
How does it work?

Your money will leave your main bank account on the date you selected and will credit your RaboDirect Savings Account after 2pm on the same business day.

Why should I use it?

  • Saves you money!  It costs nothing to set up a Rabo Money Mover. In fact, it saves you money as it eliminates the need for cheques.

  • Earn more interest! No need to waste time queuing in a bank branch. Once your Rabo Money Mover has been set up you'll start earning interest on the date you have requested the funds to be withdrawn from your other bank. 

  • It's convenient for you and your business! Set it up whenever you like - it's up to you. Unlike your traditional bank branch, RaboDirect is open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

  • Not used to online banking?  If you want all the benefits of banking online without having to maintain your account, set up the Rabo Money Mover and let it do the work for you!

  • No limits! You can transfer as much as you like, once you have the funds in the external account.

What about transferring money out?

  • The Rabo Money Mover transfers money into your RaboDirect Savings Account, personal or business. 

  • The Transfer Money out facility we provide allows you to transfer money out of your RaboDirect Savings Accounts, personal or business, to external Irish accounts.
