The Digipass means security for your money
We don't use static passwords, access code cards or make you download special software to your computer
to keep your money safe.
That's because they're all vulnerable to key stroke logging, spyware
Instead, we arm every customer with a Digipass (free of charge, of course) and ask you to use it each time
and 'phishing' attacks that can compromise the security of your account(s).
you log in to and to authorise your own transactions.
How does it work?
It's based on the principle of 'two-factor authentication' which relies on:
1. Something you know: your Customer Number and PIN and,
2. Something physical: your Digipass - which generates unique access codes that expire every 36 seconds.
Your Digipass is also used to authorise transactions, ensuring double-layered security. And because it can't be used without your PIN, there's no risk of it being used by anyone else, if it gets lost or stolen.
Even if someone got hold of your Customer Number, they can't access your accounts without using the Digipass assigned to your account and vice-versa.
